Pride In Nationality and Race
It bothers me that I can’t publicly have pride in being white.
THIS IS NOT A RACIST POST. JUST HEAR ME OUT.
Every other race can have pride and it’s looked at as acceptable, but not if you’re white.
- Black people have black pride, black power, etc. Hell, they even have their black history month.
- Puerto Ricans can display their flags proudly and openly proclaim pride in being a Puerto Rican.
- Mexicans, Indians, Native Americans, Asians, and everyone else can as well.
So why can’t I simply be happy or proud to be white?
I’m not saying that I’m better than anyone, but unfortunately, it’s looked down upon in society to be proud to be white because society equates white pride with racism towards all other races.Other countries are perfectly content with having their own people there. It seems America is the only country that likes to be a melting pot. And it’s okay for America to be a melting pot. America is, after all, the “land of opportunity”. Yet in America, we are the only country that is made to be accepting of every single person of every race, even when they don’t accept us as whites or even as Americans.
Once again, I’m not being racist. I’m just saying that I think it’s unfair that every other race can have pride in being a member of that nationality or race, yet a white person who is happy or proud to be white is a racist.
Now you may be wondering, “Billy, why are you so proud to be white?”
I honestly just am. It’s who I am, it’s my heritage and history. My ancestors moved to America from Europe in the early 1900s, so none of my ancestors had anything to do with killing innocent Native Americans, enslaving Africans, etc. So I can’t feel guilty about that stuff since I never did any of it.My basic point is that everyone else has a right to be proud, so why can’t I? It’s not really even about having a reason, because it has to do with me. I can feel however I want about myself. I don’t see other races as lower than myself, I just like being who I am.
one day, i will make a gif of my white self saying “sit ya ass down, honkey.” oh white people, y’all never fail to disappoint me.
No. Just no. There is so much wrong with this.
I mean first, there’s the “I’m not racist but…” lead in, which just lets everyone know how much of a fail this is going to be.
And of course, we’ve got the misunderstanding of the difference between ethnicity and race. Black is a race. Mexican is an ethnicity. Seriously, this is not that hard.
Oh, and then of course we’ve got to forget that white history is NEVER FUCKING FORGOTTEN. There is never a time that we have to remind the school system to teach you about white people. Ever. There has never ever ever in the history of this country been a time when people have had to say “Hey, white people did some pretty interesting and influential things, too, think you could talk about that for 28 days out of the year?” because EVERYONE ALREADY TALKS ABOUT WHITE PEOPLE. There doesn’t need to be a month because it’s every other month. But let me cry my crocodile tears just because you’re the mythical norm and therefore you don’t have to have a qualifier tagged onto your history.
So you know what? You should be fucking happy you’re white. You know why? Because it gives you certain privileges that you would not have otherwise, and instead of being an obtuse asshole about “oh man, I’m not allowed to be happy to be white, I don’t get white history month, my white ancestors have never oppressed anyone ever even though during the 1900s there was still segregation and massive oppression of people of color hardy har har”, you should recognize that your white ass has privilege that you wouldn’t have if you weren’t white, and the inability to go on and on about being so happy to be the mythical norm, the race that doesn’t need qualifiers or special efforts in order to be recognized and validated doesn’t negate that.
So seriously, STFU with your “not racist” post. Ugh. I just can’t even with this shit.
Mexican kindergarten kids vs racist white minutemen
revolutionary babies :3
These kids are too dope, especially the little girl chilling on the twirly thing, haha. Can’t forget about the guy behind the camera. Met the guy and he’s got some battle scars from the various places and events he covers.
Alright Brown Babies! YUS!Whuuut!!!! I can’t wait til I give myself computer time to watch this!
YES.
My creys. I can’t imagine anyone going up against my kindergarteners that I had last semester like that. These kids are fantastic.
White folks, the confederate flag, and the lie of “heritage not hate”
So, on my way home from my awesome aerobics class, I saw a giant pick-up truck sitting in a McDonalds parking lot. Attached were two confederate flags, one with the word “Redneck” scrawled across it.
I rolled my eyes and bemoaned the fact that some people just don’t fucking get it.
Here’s the thing about the confederate flag - I’m white, I’m from the south. I’ve only been north of the Mason Dixon line twice in my life. People say “heritage, not hate” when they justify their love of the confederate flag. But guess what?
That’s fucking bullshit.
I have no fucking idea why anyone who is white and southern would want to keep the confederate flag around as a reminder of their heritage. “I’m so proud of my heritage, you know, owning black people and stuff! I’m super proud of my heritage which includes rape, murder, and oppression!” If you can seriously say with a straight face that you want to keep the confederate flag around to celebrate your “heritage”, you’re a white privileged asshole with no regard or knowledge of history - and you’re probably fucking racist. Because if you can be proud of rape and murder and slavery of another race as your heritage, how in god’s name can you say that you’re not racist? You are proud of the fact that your ancestors fucking tortured and owned people.
When I see a confederate flag, it makes me uncomfortable - and I’m fuckin’ white! When I see that I don’t see the rape and murder and enslavement of my ancestors, but I damn well see my ancestors perpetuating it and it makes me fucking sick. So I don’t understand how people can look at that and not see history as it was, and not see how it’s a symbol for a culture and livelihood that relied on the horrific oppression of an entire race of people. I mean, I hate to Godwin here, but should folks who might be descended from Nazi Germans slap a swastika on their pick-up trucks, and if they did, would that be “heritage, not hate”?
It’s ridiculous, and it is dripping with white privilege. It’s fucking disgusting, and every time I see it I just get so angry that there are people who actually think that kind of shit is justifiable. It’s not. It’s fucking racist. So cut it the fuck out.
I’m lookin’ at you, giant confederate flag on I-75.
I’ve been told that Planned Parenthood abortion funding is done only through private donors. Thus, I wanted to post this to show how Planned Parenthood accepts private funding.
As you’ll see, a few Planned Parenthood’s have been accepting racist private funds, which are to go specifically towards black abortions. This kind of conduct is absolutely despicable.
Whether or not the government funds abortions at Planned Parenthood doesn’t really matter to me: I don’t want to be using taxpayer funds to support a private business that engages in such terrible acts.
Just throwing this out there, but did it ever occur to these people that maybe those employees just thought that getting money is a good even if it’s coming from racist people? They don’t necessarily have to put it toward the goal of said racist individuals.
I think taking the money of racist folks and putting it toward helping people of the race they hate is the best form of justice that could occur.
Until (heavily edited, I’m sure) video evidence comes out that the funds actually went toward the caller’s intended purpose (which actually isn’t that bad anyway, even if his stated motivations were bad - keep in mind he never said to round up black women and forcibly abort their pregnancies, he just said he wanted his money to go toward the elective abortions that black women have, considering black women are disproportionately affected by poverty, this would actually help facilitate their capability to choose more), I don’t see proof of anything other than a desire on the part of the Planned Parenthood employees to get money donated.
These attempts at discrediting Planned Parenthood are just sad. It makes it obvious that these people just want more abortions to occur. Don’t want taxpayer funds to go to Planned Parenthood? I don’t care what the reason is - you just said you want 800,000 more abortions a year.
P.S. There are like, over 100 Planned Parenthood affiliates in the country. I think it’s around 120. So, calling 7 would be a .05% sampling of all Planned Parenthood affiliates in the country. The 4 out of that is .03% of all Planned Parenthoods in the country.
Awesome proof, bro. The entirety of Planned Parenthood takes nothing but racially motivated donations in order to force black women to abort more pregnancies. This is irrefutable evidence. You really showed us. XD

Maybe someone could help STFU, fauxminists understand the racial undertones in this article?

U MAD?
Hi, I don’t need help understanding racism, generally. That’s why I explained why you were possibly wrong. It’s hilarious that you complain about this, yet don’t complain about the tokenism and “Look, we have black people we’re not racist!” shit that the article is actually complaining about. The language was racially charged, in my opinion, to point out the historical similarities. I don’t understand why you’re having such a hard time grasping the concept of “context”. Now, I understand if someone were to argue about the merit of using such language, but the point made still stands. The amount of tokenism both of women as well as black folks in the republican party and amongst conservatives is astounding. But hey, I’m sure it’s your superior understanding of racial justice issues that allow you to be a-okay with that.
XD
From the article:
While young conservatives chased out a white-supremacist recruiter from CPAC, it seemed that one site on the Left felt more comfortable with racist attacks. AlterNet, a site that proudly proclaims its “strong content” and “huge readership and reach,” offered its analysis of Herman Cain’s speech at CPAC by calling the former CEO of Godfather Pizza a “monkey in the window”
In the immortal words of Megatron in Transformers: The Movie, Herman Cain’s speech at CPAC really is bad comedy. As you know, I find black garbage pail kids black conservatives fascinating not because of what they believe, but rather because of how they entertain and perform for their White Conservative masters.
When race minstrelsy was America’s most popular form of mass entertainment, black actors would often have to pretend to be white men, who then in turn would put on the cork to play the role of the “black” coon, Sambo, or Jumping Jim Crow. Adding insult to injury, in a truly perverse and twisted example of the power of American white supremacy black vaudevillians would often pretend to be white in order to denigrate black people for the pleasures of the white gaze. …
In total, CPAC is a carnival and a roadshow for reactionary Conservatives. It is only fitting that in the great tradition of the freak show, the human zoo, the boardwalk, and the great midway world’s fairs of the 19th and 20th centuries, that there is a Borneo man, a Venus Hottentot or a tribe of cannibals from deepest darkest Africa or Papua New Guinea on display. For CPAC and the White Conservative imagination, Herman Cain and his black and brown kin are that featured attraction.
We always need a monkey in the window, for he/she reminds us of our humanity while simultaneously reinforcing a sense of our own superiority. Sadly, there are always folks who are willing to play that role because it pays so well.
The hypocrisy of the left knows no bounds.
As apparently the lack of reading comprehension and historical knowledge of the right knows no bounds.
I’m not going to pretend I read the whole article, but from this section it seems as if the author of the article is calling out the right for making Herman Cain into the monkey in the box, not directly calling Herman Cain a monkey in the box.
I’m open to suggestions from my followers about it, though. I just think it’s interesting that someone who seems to affiliate themselves with the Tea Party movement is supposedly concerned about race even as Tea Party affiliated folks are killing little girls on the Mexican border and Tea Party ralliers call Obama “Osama” as many times as they possibly can.

No seriously, WTF is this shit.
